Rudy's pet bird. He found the other day while we went to Costco. When we got home we called his name and he didn't come. We knew he was up to something. So we go outside and he is sitting by this bird that cant fly. We figured it had got blown in the wind and hurt it's wing. So I start to walk up to him and he runs in front of my feet and growls at me. Wherever you walked he would walk right in front of you. He did not want you to hurt his bird! The whole time we were gone he sat with it, and we were gone for about five hours. We thought
ohhh how sweet that he would sit there and protect that bird. Then we started to clean and my brothers window was open and all of the sudden we hear

Rudy's eating the bird!!! So we ran outside and its wing was like halfway off but it was still blinking and breathing, it was so gross! So I guess he was waiting for it to die so he could eat it! So my dad put it in a bag and put it
somewhere, I was sad for the bird, but i guess
that's just life!

He was so sweet all day. He just sat and protected that bird from everyone. He never left it's side. Now we know why. Nasty dog!!
Wasn't the fairy tale ending I was expecting, but then again, sometimes things just don't end up the way we think. He was doing what nature told him to do...Nasty Dog!!!
NASTY, NASTY DOG!! That is a pretty funny story though! :) Just watch out if he starts guarding you to well!
